In 1996, Fecec (Catalan Federation of Education Co-operatives) and Agrupació Escolar Catalana (Catalan Association of Schools) founded a business association with the aim of representing schools in areas that allowed their representation in the collective agreement and the various bargaining tables within the sector.
Fecec comprises 40 co-operative schools with more than 5,000 members and around 14,000 pupils.

Connecta has designed the corporate identity and the website for the Federation.
